Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions clients most often ask before starting a WordPress development project — pricing, process, timelines, and what happens after launch.

How much does a WordPress website cost?

Pricing depends on scope — a landing page costs far less than a custom multi-page business site or a full WooCommerce store. After a short discovery call to understand what's needed, I provide a clear, itemized quote before any work begins, so there are no surprise charges partway through the project.

How long does it take to build a WordPress site?

A simple business site typically takes 1-2 weeks, a custom site with more pages and functionality can take 3-5 weeks, and a full WooCommerce store usually takes 4-6 weeks depending on catalog size and integrations. Timelines are agreed upfront as part of the proposal, not estimated loosely after work has already started.

Do you work with clients outside Pakistan?

Yes — I work remotely with clients across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere, using scheduled calls, written updates, and shared project boards to keep communication clear across time zones.

Can you redesign my existing WordPress site without losing my SEO rankings?

Yes. Redesigns include mapping old URLs to new ones with proper redirects, keeping meta titles and descriptions consistent with what's already ranking, and resubmitting the sitemap after launch — the goal is a better-looking, faster site without resetting existing search visibility.

Do you build WooCommerce stores?

Yes, end-to-end — product catalog structure, payment gateway integration, shipping and tax configuration, checkout optimization, and ad pixel tracking setup (Meta, X, Pinterest) for accurate conversion data.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Every site is built responsive and tested across mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints before launch — this isn't an optional add-on, it's part of the standard build process for every project.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance after the site is launched?

Yes, through monthly website care plans covering updates, backups, security monitoring, and a set allowance of time for small content changes, so the site stays reliable and secure long after the initial launch.

Can you fix bugs or issues on a site someone else built?

Yes — bug fixing, plugin conflict resolution, and general troubleshooting are available regardless of who originally built the site. I check error logs and isolate the actual cause before applying a fix, rather than guessing.

Do you help with SEO, or just development?

Both. I'm HubSpot Academy-certified in SEO and handle technical SEO (site speed, schema, crawlability), on-page SEO (content, meta tags, keyword clusters), and general growth strategy alongside the development work itself.

How do we get started?

Reach out through the contact form with a short description of what you need. From there we schedule a discovery call, I put together a written proposal with scope and pricing, and once that's approved, work begins on an agreed timeline.

What do you need from me to get started?

Typically your logo and brand colors if you have them, any existing content (text, images, or a rough outline of what pages you need), and a short list of competitor or reference sites you like the look of. If any of that isn't ready yet, it can usually be worked out together during the discovery call instead of holding up the project.

Do you sign a contract or agreement before starting work?

Yes — every project starts with a written scope covering deliverables, timeline, revision rounds, and payment terms, agreed by both sides before development begins. This protects both the client and the work itself by making sure expectations are clear from day one rather than assumed.
